A Spectacular Birthday Celebration: European Centre Golf Club Marks Two Decades of Operation

On 5 September, the European Centre Golf Club celebrated two decades of operation – to mark this memorable occasion, the club invited guests not only to meet at the golf course but also to enjoy a spectacular evening programme.

As the main event partner, OWEXX handled the event organisation and technical execution. And the birthday celebration once again proved how important professionalism and a quick reaction to a changed situation are – due to unfavourable weather conditions, the event venue and other elements had to be changed as urgently as possible.

The evening part of the event was swiftly relocated from the course to another venue – the “Grand Hotel Vilnius” – and for this reason both the event time and some of the suppliers, who could not arrive at the changed time, had to be adjusted; the event programme and technical solutions were also revised. All the changed decisions had to be implemented in an extremely short time – but the OWEXX team took on this challenge and made sure that the birthday celebration went smoothly and that its guests were accompanied only by the very best emotions.

Undeterred by the bad weather, the members of the European Centre Golf Club competed in the anniversary championship. Kajus Pačauskas and Patricija Ulozaitė became the champions of the year.

Although the elements of the evening part had to be changed, the main goal remained the same – together with the entire club community, to mark two decades of operation, recall the best moments, and thank the club's first members, former managers, long-standing employees and the most active members of the community.

The culmination of an evening full of warm moments was a concert by Rūta Ščiogolevaitė and a spectacular laser show.

The birthday event became an excellent example proving that event organisation is not merely the implementation of a pre-arranged scenario. When circumstances change at short notice, the most important thing becomes the ability to quickly assess the situation, reprioritise and make decisions without losing the main idea of the event. This time, the OWEXX team had not only to contribute to the implementation of the anniversary celebration but also to swiftly reorganise its solutions when the original plan became impossible.

The birthday celebration left behind warm memories and joyful emotions. We congratulate the European Centre Golf Club on its 20th anniversary and wish it continued success in creating the history of Lithuanian golf!
